Dr. Gabe Dickens grew up in Raleigh, NC and is deeply rooted in all things Carolina. He went to high school at North Raleigh Christian Academy and undergraduate at UNC-Wilmington. As a child, Dr. Gabe saw the power of Chiropractic in his mom’s life when one day she collapsed and wasn’t able to stand up. She was told she would need life-altering surgery. As a last resort she went to a chiropractor who adjusted her which allowed her body to heal itself without drugs or surgeries. After this, Dr. Gabe saw the wonders of chiropractic in his own life with various conditions and injuries, leading him to want to help people in the same way.
Dr. Gabe attended Palmer College of Chiropractic for his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Jessica Yackley was born and raised in Davenport, IA. Growing up where chiropractic was born, she always knew it to be helpful in addressing physical stress on the body. After graduating with a degree in Human Physiology from The University of Iowa in 2015, she found herself searching for more than what brought her to school, which was the musculoskeletal component of our bodies.
She spent years researching about cancer, natural health, and developed a passion to understand how our bodies truly work. She quickly realized that traditional healthcare’s approach was a sick care approach. Dr. Jessica knew there were answers to health challenges that weren’t mainstream and was motivated to find the answers. After searching all angles of health professionals and their approaches, Dr. Jessica decided to pursue Chiropractic for the belief that the body was created to heal, and for a truly holistic approach to health by looking at the body as a whole.
Dr. Jessica graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. Throughout chiropractic school she dove deeper into functional medicine and functional testing. She studied, researched, trained, and led her peers in related clubs. She came to realize that this was the approach and thinking that brought her to Chiropractic school.
Dr. Jessica is certified in Thompson Technique and is extensively trained in several adjusting techniques including extremity adjusting, Logan Basic, Activator, tonal approaches, and more. Additionally, Dr. Jessica has several years of experience in various Physical therapy settings, skilled nursing facilities, and hospital-based care facilities.
In her free time she loves to hike, camp, travel, and explore nature. She enjoys reading, learning, and growing, and is a follower of Jesus Christ.
